A Horizon Ag Research will be able to conduct herbicide efficacy, tolerance and recropping trials, fungicide efficacy and seed treatment trials, inoculant trials, variety trials, fertility trials and demonstration field trials. Weeds for herbicide efficacy trials that can be seeded include wild oat, green foxtail, cleavers, wild buckwheat, kochia and lamb’s quarters. Disease inoculum is available for seed treatment and foliar fungicide trials.

A Horizon Ag Research is centrally located, and there is the possibility to conduct field trials in other soil zones as required.
